Jack Whittle and Mrs Whittle are the owners of Welcome of Rochester on which Port and Starboard hitch-hike to catch up with Teasel in Coot Club. They are assisted by Mr Hawkins.
From the Come Along they see a big old man (Jack) standing at the wheel. The Whittles have a son, Jacky, who is a sailor in the Iron Duke (CC21).
