Evegenia Ransome, born Evgenia Petrovna Shelepina, (10 April 1894 - 13 March 1975) was Arthur Ransome's second wife.
Arthur Ransome met Evgenia on 30 December 1917. They lived together in Estonia from 1919 to 1924, when they married and moved to England (SFM).
Evgenia appeared as the anonymous Cook in Racundra's First Cruise. She is often considered a prototype for Susan Walkerref req.
Evgenia has a reputation of being discouraging about each of Ransome's books based on the mentions Ransome made about her comments in his letters.
