  • 29 June 1991: Tars holds first annual general meeting, in Ipswich; delegates visit The Wade and Pin Mill by bus and cruise down river to Felixstowe Dock and out to sea and Hamford Water and Walton Channel
  • October 1994: First version of Arthur Ransome Page on World Wide Web (located at http://newton.otago.ac.nz:808/arthurpage.html in New Zealand.)
  • 1997:
    • beginning of the arthur-ransome.org website, originally called The Arthur Ransome Pages and located at www.arthur-ransome.org/ar, hosted by Humboldt Internet, as a follow-on to the previous one in New Zealand.
